We are delighted that together with our manufacturing partner LANCER, one of the world’s leaders in beer and mineral dispense, we have launched the LANCER GLYCOL SYSTEM in the Irish marketplace.
For the last two years, we have been active, together with all Breweries, LVA, VFI and leading publicans, in installing and tweaking the LANCER system to suit the Irish marketplace.
Following its initial breakthrough design in Australia over 15 years ago, Lancer has installed over 7,000 systems worldwide recently changing all 700 weather spoons outlets in the UK and Northern Ireland. Other prestigious projects include Wembley Stadium.

The Lancer system is a direct replacement or addition to the Traditional Irish Ice Bank method of cooling. In this case, instead of having multiple external and internal compressors, Lancer uses a central bath of glycol (Antifreeze) to cool all refrigeration within the bar. Using the same principle as a household heating system, the Lancer bath simply chills the mixed bath of glycol and water to – 4c and then pumps the liquid to your taps, beer cold room, remote bottle coolers and even your food cold rooms.
The simplicity of this design is backed by a number of patented innovations which allow the Lancer systems deliver up to 50 % savings on your existing systems electricity bills.
No matter what size or style of pub you own, the Lancer systems can remove your existing Beer cold room compressor, Ice bank compressor and all under counter coolers and replace them with one external unit. This new optimised system will not only guarantee to reduce your electricity bills but for the first time ever will allow any beer to be served at 0 o C without the need for large, noisy & hot under counter coolers. The unique Lancer tank uses a brazed Heat exchanger within the bath to allow for a highly efficient heat transfer within a small space while the patented aluminium block heat exchangers allow for close temp control on every tap.
